Hi! I just trained a model to draw in the style of the late Kim Jung Gi, as an hommage.
I'm fairly happy with the results, given how complicated is his style.
Hope you like it, feel free to use it by yourself (credit plz) :

I am removing this file because AI training has come a long way since October 2022 and frankly the methods I used are now obsolete.
I am proud to have held up under the pressure, no one in the world can decide for you if your approach is sincere.
RIP KJG and rip kjg ai model.

I want eventual people who use it in the public domain to share the direction to the file (the link I posted) so others can use it too, instead of putting it somewhere as their own trained model. It's a fairly standard request.

Pardon me this euphemism but it started with a few, and then it snow balled because angry people speak loud and it clouds other's judgement.
Maybe the simple story here is that I thought it would be nice to make something about KJG instead of just making something random.

It's a very good point and I actually heard about a guy winning a regular art contest with a very obvious and openly Midjourney creation.

He was opened about his process, as I am, and the polemic came more about juges being oblivious to the tech and t from the novelty than anything else.
But people WILL use this tech in hidden ways. We need to be educated about it because it's here. It's part of the landscape now.

It's like saying photography is not art because all you have to do is to push a button.
Now this specific tool, using KJG style, is not an attempt at art.

I didn't post anything that I would call "art".
Think of it more as a photoshop brush, and my posts as paint strokes showcasing the tool.

Please don't do this - I believe it goes against what he stood for and I doubt it's the kind of thing he would consent to willingly.
