Sadly, now, as in 1860, both sides were 100% sure that THEY were the Patriots and those OTHER guys were the traitors.

No. I’m a Southerner and know American history and I and everyone I know, knows the confederates were so wrong and poorly informed and waged a hopeless “war”. They were the traitors. No debate.
