Lecture others about words at your peril. I recall questioning my mother's reference to 'cambric tea' with 'You mean Cambridge tea?' She might as well have stuck out her tongue when she replied, 'You could look it up.'
-
In the other direction, someone recently suggested that I had made up the word 'kyriarchy' and that 'maybe he [me] meant "hierarchy"'—which meant that the person misread what I wrote /and/ misspelled it in a failed attempt to search for the word online. Oopsy.

You are saving my life right now. I left my Journalism degree to run off with my Chiropractor. 30 years and a divorce later, my University has graciously—they need the money—allowed me to return online, take four classes, and graduate this spring. I’m so stale, baby.
-
Er, that’s ‘Thirty’, isn’t it.

That epigraph is like the overlapping section of the Venn diagram of your Twitter feed.

And what a fantastic epigraph it is! (Love your book! I don't yet have the desk calendar.)

I’m opening mine tomorrow. Your tweet should be labeled “spoiler alert.”
