        Few of us - certainly not I. That said, without a union, would this be in the Post? Maybe, maybe not. Isn't part of the point of unions to call attention to this sort of thing?

        And I don't have a mortgage company or a utility company that will say "keep going" as the president quips. They turn off your utilities and evict you when you can't pay--at least where I live.

        It's truly disgusting that Congress and the President are exempted from the hardship that they expect others to go through. Americans should relentlessly harass their reps until that is fixed.

        because Federal Employees are generally discouraged from speaking publicly as representatives of their agencies, so they depend upon their unions and often retirees from those agencies to do what they can get in trouble for.
