When he is treated as guilty without proof.. I would be pissed off too
-
You can’t prove a negative. He could have agreed, if totally innocent, to invite the FBI to investigate. He chose not to. Why not? It would have resolved the issue.
-
Isn't the burden of proof on the accuser??????
-
The proof would be revealed if the FBI were asked to investigate Judge Kavanaugh has declined to invite them to investigate. Why? If he’s innocent this would clear up all further questions.
-
Why should he? It’s her responsibility to prove guilt first. That is suppose to be the American way, you know. Innocent until proven guilty. He hasn’t been proven guilty.
-
You’re still talking as if this was a court of law. It’s a job interview! If he is to be appointed as a Supreme Court Judge for the rest of his life, he must be above reproach. Think about it. If he has guilty secrets, could he be blackmailed? Think ...
-
Whatever. I’m not talking with you about this. You won’t change my mind and I’ve had enough.
-
Sad you can’t have intelligent debate when it’s you Susan that is incorrect. Picture treating your boss how he treated the Senators. Also, doesn’t everyone know that answering a question with a question is a childlike way of evading the question. “I don’t know but do you???”

Because no nominee has ever been treated this deplorably!!! Good grief!
-
He was screaming and crying after mere minutes. Is that the temperament of someone you want on the Supreme Court?
-
Accused of being a rapist without evidence, witnesses, or any sort of corroboration whatsoever. A man who has been through 7 FBI checks throughout his life of service, and has been upstanding the each and every time. He's damn right to be disgusted with these sick fucking people.
-
I'm not saying he's guilty. I'm saying he's unfit for the job. The American Bar Association made a statement last night saying to delay his appointment. They're literally the experts. It's bizarre to see our representatives disregard that, assuming they know better.
-
His behavior towards Sen. Klobuchar alone renders him unfit to sit on ANY bench, not to mention the Supreme Court.
-
You are literally reaching for straws at this point. The more innocent and good he looks, the more desperate these claims are becoming.
-
I love the way you’re not actually commenting on the Bar Association asking for a delay.
-
As well as the dean of Law at Yale, his alma mater.

So you can attack, slander and ruin a mans life without evidence and now have the stones to say he shouldn’t forcefully defend himself? This is not Nazi Germany!
@SenFeinstein -
Ruin his life? He’s not going to jail and he’s still a wealthy federal judge.
-
Yes ruin his life! You have a lot of people threatening him and his family, he himself said he will not be able to coach his daughters teams anymore because of accusations with no supporting evidence.
-
His answer would have been simple: invite the FBI to investigate both sides and then the answer to the question is clear.
-
It is not the the responsibility of the accused to ask for someone to prove their innocence. He is currently innocent until he is proven to be guilty
-
This isn’t a law court! He is being asked questions by the committee just like anyone applying for a new job.
-
He still doesn’t have to ask to be proven innocent that is not his responsibility because he already is innocent. Court of law or not
-
This is not a court of law, it’s a job interview. If someone applies for a job, their background is looked into - the more senior the position, the more carefully they are checked. Kavanaugh could have invited the FBI If innocent, he has nothing to lose, everything to gain.
