Just a showboating moment. Why do people like to mix work and parenting, then act all "strong" needing everyone's approval. Unfair both to the child and work. In reality it shows one to be very selfish.

I don't know about Australia, but here in NZ more work places are supporting parents with bringing children to work. Granted its not widespread, but it's definitely supported more.

It's not a matter of adequate support or not but the whole concept is ludicrous. Humans have limitations and that fact needs to be accepted.

Be responsible for one''s own action, share limited resources & tax money fairly among people, know what are basic rights, which is not same as privileges in anyway.
