Why was it sold, in the first place?

The old bridge was going to be demolished anyway for a modern bridge because the Victorian Era stone bridge was sinking

Understood. Did it make some profit OR 'made int UK' was enough?.

It had become structurally unsound, and was sold for 2.5 million dollars in 1968 so that would be about 18 million dollars today. City councils didn’t care much about historic preservation until a few major losses in the late 1960s changed the public attitudes on old buildings.

May be that is the reason we do not have enough homes. They were sold out.

Got anything else to sell? How about Big Ben? Or perhaps the Queen's throne? Give a good price for her crown.

Most IGNORANT people will question the BUSINESS move. I wonder how many of you are SUCCESSFUL? Let me guess NONE. How about you leave the business moves to the real tycoons. If you don't get it. Get OUT.
