someone please explain to me why the USA is forbidding other countries from looking out for themselves? China has not threatened the USA, nor has Russia.

Really Russia hasn't threatened United States? Couple months ago they threatened us with a invisible missle, 2 weeks ago he threatened us twice in one week saying he was going to attack the base we both agreed was a de escalation zone.

Let's penalize everybody for putting Russian dressing on their salad. This is absurd

In some ways US sanctions work to isolate the US from foreign countries. It would be better if the US stopped selling weapons to foreign nations all together. It's sort of counter intuitive, considering theft of weapons tech is an issue for the military industrial complex.

It's big business and brings in billions to the US economy.Saying that, the cost of war probably outweighs the income. I read before that the US doesn't provide all its tech when selling to other nations. It was to do with the F35's sold to the UK. How true this is, I don't know

But somehow technology is mastered by stealing/copying/reverse engineering. F-35 design reported to have been stolen by China. Downed Tomohawks in Pakistan when in attack on OBL in Afghanistan were reversed engineered by Pakistan to make their own Babur cruise missile etc.

I suppose it'd be almost impossible to keep all of your weapons technology secret. Intelligence/hacking/theft etc is always going to happen.

All good points. Somehow I feel that the stage of war is changing. DOD announced cyber offense is now part of it's defense arsenal. More & more it will be drone/remote/economic/digital warfare. Govts. will realize it makes more economic sense. It's what Russia does.

Sorry but it doesn’t make any sense at all, USA n China are supposed to be at trade war (rivals).... so why the **** woud USA expect China to buy their military hardware? It doesn’t make any sense.
