It has to do with a problem your Empire created many years ago. It’s called Northern Ireland.

I love Ireland and it's people but this man is an EU stooge, he's not working for Ireland, he's been in the EU since his early teens, he made his deal with the devil a long time ago.
-
He is a dope as our leader but I just hate the way Europe is being so harsh on the uk about this boarder , it's the European leaders jumping up and down , im just fed up with it all , as for the uk for brexit I think you's will be fine :) it's just the unknown that's scary

The Irish border is a matter for UK and Ireland. Brussels need to keep their nose out of our affairs. As usual the dictators hate to lose their iron grip on us all.
-
I agree , we can sort it between us don't need Europe jumping on the band wagon

For 44 years up until last year, Ireland received more money from EU than they paid in. Once the UK has left, a lot of other countries will find that membership of the EU actually costs. Let's see how their enthusiasm for the EU lasts.

Well, John, Ireland was left in a sorry state following the parasitic British occupation. The EU certainly helped Ireland in terms of upgrading its infrastructure. Today the same neglect and underfunding is clearly apparent in Northern Ireland.

In your opinion. Actually, we are glad that, for once, we are not being bullied by that kid next door.

Perhaps we should have understood and planned for, in detail, how to leave the EU without impacting the Irish boarder and without significant economic and personal harm. Then the referendum vote would have been based on something more than a wish.

The Irish border is a can of worms for the EU27 to deal with

You know there's two sides to the border right? That's what makes it a border
-
and, on one side is the kitchen, on the other side is the loo. I take it you are not familiar.http://www.thejournal.ie/brexit-divisive-border-3595420-Sep2017/ …

Varadkar knows his limelight is going, EU now favour Brexiteer stance on the border. He's back to being a nobody and hates it. He is no friend of the UK.
