All emergency service vehicles should be allowed to stop where ever they need to. That should be the law.

For god's sake do you really need to ask this question? @BBCWorld these people work long hours and save lives and if people aren't happy about an ambulance parking in the wrong place they seriously need to take a look at themselves and hope they dont need an ambulance one day.

When on duty & responding, they should go wherever they have to. I consider them same as police cars; i.e. if there's no lights & siren, I firmly believe they should obey the same rules as the rest of the citizenry.

If they've been dispatched to a scene, YES! If they're on a lunch break (everyone needs a break during the workday), then no.

It doesn't matter the degree of emergency of the dispatch: a cancer patient can't walk a mile, and the ambulance is needed back on other calls.

UK & it’s parking laws suck! If you cant park ambulance near the hospital & bringing patients for treatment this ticketing is disgusting. Shameful

I don't f... care what color lines are, yellow, white, red, purple or rainbow multicolored, the ambulance should be able to park on whatever lines he pleases.
