I remember being excited to see my first Little Egret on the River Teign in Devon when i was younger. Can't imagine them not being here now

I hadn't been living in Somerset very long when I caught a glimpse of a Little Egret in a field as I went past in the car. It must have been 97/98? I used to volunteer at Shapwick Heath and remember the excitement when the Great White Egret nested for the first time.

Its good seeing the heron with the little egret. Those two happily live side by side here in Bantry Bay in Ireland. So nice to see them both.
