Ed Davey is right - Boris Johnson's contracts for cronies is an absolute disgrace...

They don’t care about us. They allow carers & their families to suffer. We all will need care at some point. Heartbreaking.

And how many Lib dems and Labour ones have ties to business?
-
Whataboutism. Their business ties don't expect their party to break the rules, and engage in disaster capitalism.

Time for a BBC Reality Check "PM Says "neediest" families are being supported" but [how many] children live in poverty? etc

Carers have been poorly supported through successive governments. I get £67.25 a week for supporting my mother 24-7, 7 days a week. When I started claiming the DWP took away her severe disability payment, so financially we're no better off.

Its time that
@BorisJohnson &@RishiSunak did more than just look at the minimal amount unpaid careers get. Many spend 24/7 caring for those who would need full time paid care. A £20 increase for their sacrifice is very little to ask but would ease their financial stress & worryThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Although if you're an unpaid carer unable to work and get carers allowance and income support, any increase in carers allowance is clawed back by taking it off your income support.
