        The government need to focus on getting the current network running efficiently. Reopening old lines will be an excuse for incompetent operators to make more money out of commuters whilst delivering a pathetic and inept service (see Greater Anglia)

        An unpopular opinion on here in left-wing loony land. But nationalisation of the rails is the worst idea since erm...well, choosing to vote for Jeremy Corbyn a couple of months ago. We've never had it better. The issue is, only those who remember truly understand this.
