If done in a sensible manner at least the kids will UNDERSTAND why Hitler was a monster. Or take the cupcake route and ban EVERYTHING the left-wing cupcakes object to and learn NOTHING.

The worry is if you don’t study its intents or practices, then it can sneak up on the ignorant.

Studying is one thing. Providing a platform to discuss +/- aspects suggests that there are positives. There a none.

But you have to understand why someone could think of it as a positive. Remembers millions did and followed it blindly, why? How?, also how did they make it appealing, why do some have totally different opinions etc.

I agree, but my point is that debating the positives and negatives of Mein Kampf isn’t necessary for a critical study of fascism.

Hitler's manifesto is an important document in regards the fallout of WWI and the ideas that became central to his party and his power. It needs to be taught, it needs to be remembered it didn't really sell well, and it needs to be understood so it doesn't happen again

You got to laugh. A few here are saying it shouldn't be read or discussed... why not? Have you read it? I have and it actually put some of Hitler's thoughts & intentions in to context. Read it, then comment. It's like saying you don't like sprouts but have never tried them!

More like saying you don’t like poisonous mushrooms lol .... but I agree study it and learn lessons on how it (fascism) can sneak up on the otherwise ignorant. :)

Good on them. The only way to identify the REAL threats to people are to have them out in the open. Contrast & compare with situation in UK/Europe today.

The best way to give it credibility would be to ban debates on it.
