A convenient molehill to make into a mountain to distract from the fact that the Government is planning to stab thousands of settled migrants in the back with the settler scheme. A few suffering souls in a boat aren’t going to destroy the country, where’s the compassion?

A few souls in a boat can soon become thousands that's the problem

Why though? So what if a thousand immigrants come to the UK? Many of them will have a skill or have qualifications and are escaping war zones to build a better life for them or their families? Why is it a problem?

It’s a problem because they are economic migrants and not asylum seekers. The first rule of asylum is that you plead it in the first safe country in which you arrive. These migrants have crossed the whole of Europe and the Middle East but are targeting UK. Why?

It's not a 'rule of asylum' that you have to apply in the 1st safe country. Also if you were to be forced to leave your own country surely you too would want to try to find the best place to start again? Millions have been displaced from Syria and only a few 100 choose the UK.

You are wrong. That is the first rule of asylum. Also you describe perfectly the actions and strategy of an Economic Migrant. If you are truly in fear of your life, you do not choose your host country. This ‘choice’ is only available to an economic migrant. Who is paying for it.

How ridiculous. This is not a crisis. There are thousands of people sleeping rough and nothing is done about it. This is the equivalent of less than 3 London busses of people. This is all about pandering to the far right

They only report the ones they no 3 London busses full, there is probably hundreds more that are missed. Nostradamus predicted this migration

I must've missed the bit where Nostradamus foretold Sajid Javid missing a couple of days of holiday - did he also mention Liam Fox going absolutely bonkers?

It’s only a matter of time until it happens here too. The security forces can’t be everywhere, the terrorists know that and only have to be lucky once.
