Far left activist involves herself in a lawful arrest, lashes out at a police officer, refuses to cooperate or even walk to the police van, then complains when they think she may be a weapon carrying member of Antifa? Boo hoo hoo. Grow the hell up.

What a surprise. She's written a paper about this very topic.pic.twitter.com/kVB4zEJl8v

The book visible on her desk is by Theodor Adorno - a member of the Frankfurt School. This woman is DEEP in marxism.pic.twitter.com/FIgeAx43MN

Wow, things are never as they first seem. BBC didn’t report that in the article.
-
That would assume the BBC are interested in unbiased journalism. If I can turn that up in a few minutes on Google when they seemingle can't, why are we paying our licence fees to these people?

People need to stop diminishing the very real trauma of PTSD with these nonsense claims. Perhaps the situation was "troubling", but it CANNOT have caused enduring psychological dysfunction.
-
You can’t diagnose whether she does or doesn’t have it over the internet even if you had the right to
-
I can if I want to. If she IS that traumatised then she needs to build some bloody resilience! Imagine if she'd lived in medieval Europe, or through the Spanish Inquisition, or Salem witch trials! Honestly, what a howling cry-baby!
-
"If she'd lived in medieval Europe" Irreverent. She lives in and always has lived in 20th century England. In which she has grown up in this time. This conduct IN THIS TIME, is fascist and should not be allowed. What a moron you are, comparing this day and age to medieval times.
-
No she hasn’t, it says she was originally from Aberdeen, which last time I looked was not in England

Clutching at straws much? UK. *Sigh*

‘The boy was found to have a knife, which Dr Duff had not been aware of when she intervened’ Any suffering is surely the result of Duff’s own inflated ego, and yet she continues to obstruct officers with misconduct charges. Chattering class pomposity and entitlement in action?
-
Dear Robin, We're headed for a police state if they get it into their heads that they have impunity from prosecution. Dr Duff was within her rights to offer assistance to the boy. Police reaction was typically OTT. Rough handling is unnecessary & deliberately intimidatory.
-
I see little evidence for a burgeoning police state but the proliferation of knife fatalities is hard fact. The best outcome for the boy was that police were able to confiscate the weapon before he ruined his own life and someone else’s -Dr Duff’s intervention was pure arrogance.

This is exactly the problem because our suspicions about something or someone aren’t as important as the available facts, once we confuse these conditions we end up making a spectacle of ourselves, or worse.
-
Police who believe they're above the law are far more dangerous to our society than common criminals.
