It must have been a British needle though. Wetherspoon won’t allow foreign needles in their dives. M x

Two-years-olds in a Wetherspoons? Sounds about right.

I knew some twat would attack Wetherspoons. Owner pro Brexit, customers pretty working class. I think it’s great that we do allow children in pubs now. Like they do throughout Europe.

The beer choice isn't terrible but great food? I'm going to have to stop you there lol. Also wetherspoons imports a lot of its meat.

Christ almighty, all these comments about a child in a pub. Kids have been going into pubs that sell food for decades. They invariably have policies that restrict where kids can go and what time they can stay until. For many children have to leave when they stop serving food.

My only issue would be that it was a Wetherspoons and the child was playing on the floor. All the Wetherspoons near me are so grubby you wipe your feet on the way out.

“There have been no cases anywhere in the world of somebody contracting HIV through a needle stick injury from a needle discarded in a public place” quotes BBC, as it writes a whole article about the possibility anyway using words like ‘trauma’.
