What normal, recent mother drinks half a bottle of vodka?

One with post natel depression?
-
Really!!!!! My partner, sisters, cousins all suffered from it.....never got pissed in charge of their kids tho.
-
It probably affects people differently and in quite serious cases could lead to this kind of behaviour. I am not a medic tbough and not making excuses.
-
Still a no-no if you are in charge of a baby...

Terrible. She has to live with the guilt for the rest of her life. That's a sentence in itself

A tragedy

I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. What a terrible tragedy. Gold bless the little girl and strength to her mother. This isn’t something that she will ever be able to forget.
-
Strength?! How about jail?!

If it had been the father everyone would be calling him a deadbeat lowlife and the justice system wouldn't hesitate to lock him up and throw away the key, but because vagina she barely gets a slap on the wrist.

If she was drunk then this is manslaughter, if not murder. There is no excuse for it at all. The 12 month suspended sentence is a joke.

I see mothers out there every day that shouldn't have custody. .or shouldn't have kids in the first place.

Life for a life. Irresponsible.
-
Clearly you're someone who values human life...
-
A mother getting drunk is unacceptable. Esp if she's the child's sole carer. If it were a father/carer anyone. No discrimination.
-
She walked free. Idk why you're even talking.
-
Her actions were criminally negligent, though to suggest that she should lose her life as a consequence points to a real lack of humanity on your part.
-
If you say so. Alcohol related deaths/abuses are one the highest known crimes recorded in our country. So forgive me if I don't show enough sympathy. I'd rather place it where it's needed more.
-
As a non-drinker I don't need to be lectured on the reality of alcohol. Nonetheless, advocating that this woman should die as a consequence is reprehensible. It is perhaps posturing on your part, though if not you really need to question your values.
-
So what you're saying is if all mothers got drunk. End up 'Neglecting' their children. Where in turn they either were at Death Dangerous or even Died as a Consequence. That would sit well with you now would it?
