        Er just one problem with this non news item - Addy Lee are not taxis - they are a Private Hire company ie mini cabs - please BBC get the headline right at least !!!!

        In a nutshell these vehicles will end up killing you. They are not safe and never will be safe. It’s equivalent to crossing the road blindfolded at a pedestrian crossing hoping cars will stop.

        I love the idea of driverless taxis it will save people a fortune, as when you get to your destination you just do a runner (or a walk away ) as there's no driver to chase you.

        As a driver of a vehicle with assisted braking which is brilliant on a sunny clear day but a little rain, fog or snow it has a tendency to stop working excuse dirty sensor. I find this a bit worrying British roads especially London roads aren’t ready for this technology!!
