Know what you mean, last time I flew it was probably cheaper to get to the UK from the states than back home from Bristol airport!

Good. Competition advances tech that will allows us to go further. People moaning about how they should help the needy on earth. Why? Why is everyone on earth their responsibility? Those issues can be solved now by those currently in power. Crack on Elon etc. You keep going 👍

People who complain about the space race, should look at all the things we have as a direct result of the first space race. Then decided if they are willing to give them all up. Space cost money but over coming the challenges can see massive benefits for us all in the longer term

Much better they start paying their taxes like real citizens in the countries they earn it in, rather than vanity projects which is robbing investment in schools, hospitals and environment.

So wealthy people will pay to go far up into the sky to see empty space that we can all see from earth anyway. It would be far better to spend their money on improving the condition of their own planet and its suffering earthlings.

Thanks BBC for yet more free advertising for these egoists Branson has been promising space 'tourism' within the next few months since c. 2006 The real story (have you any news journalists) is why does he keep saying it. Is he a fantasist? Is he an inveterate liar? Is it a scam?
