Why should we be forced to have electric cars, thought we lived in a world of choice !!! I for one don't ever want an electric car think they are vile I want to drive a car not a go kart

Why should it be a 'choice' to indulge in destructive and damaging behaviour if there is an alternative? Seriously how can you feel entitled to such a choice? Why should the rest of us be forced to live with your 'choices' when we're at a human-made sustainability crisis point?

If MPs were serious about climate change they would increase fuel duty inline with inflation rather than increasing the cost of public transport

I changed from petrol to deisal under government recommendation and then changed back to petrol low emissions car under government advice. Now what do do want horse and cart. Let's start by getting rid of the royals 6 liter cars and also all ministerial cars give them a bike.

Where’s the infrastructure to support this? e.g. over a third of UK households don’t have off street parking. How will they charge their car(s)?

The sooner we get to autonomous driving the better. Then we won't need personal cars as the cost of self-drive taxis should be low enough for daily use. Therefore, the cost of replacing a car because they ban fossil fuels will not be a consideration so, who cares if it is banned.

When a group of people have a higher I.Q. Then your entire family tree combined they don’t expect you to understand what they’re doing for the earth and for our future generations, you can moan and complain, it’s the same as a monkey throwing shit at a wall. It doesn’t Matter.

Hopefully by then electric cars will be able to travel greater distances, at the moment no use for if you wish to travel any great distance.
-
Hopefully. It will also trash the vehicle making industry, which your lot will try and blame on Brexit.
