Cinderella is my favourite movie, and I'm sick of people saying she just "waits around" for men to help her. She is a strong, smart woman!https://youtu.be/huLSdm6IH0g

Lol when I watched it as a kid. Never crossed my mind...."a man had to save her" I'm like oh cool that's her friend lol. Some parents are so protective. Not letting their kid have a childhood. Thank god born in the 90's

Agreed. Also, I don't think he even saved her. He was moved by her courage, and her kindness. I feel there are great lessons for children in this movie: perseverance in what is right, never allowing mean people to ruin your kind spirit, etc etc

For the last 2 or 3 months, it really seems like the BBC has ramped up its output of non news/fluff pieces like this. I genuinely wonder why? It's saddening to see what is regarded worldwide as a reputable news network, turn into Buzzfeed 2.

Does it include the film Bedknobs and Broomsticks because it has the word knob in the title?

To be honest it was funny at first but now it’s weary and worn and just irritating. Cue the next person to reply with the shrug

FGS,Disney productions are just fluffy pretend made up films for children's imagination (male & female)which in fact my nephew loved...dressing up in Cinderella shoes/dresses. HE wanted to be HER.They are NOT factual documentaries about role-models.
