Only sensible point of the whole story was having @JustEatUK publish the latest hygiene ratings for each listing to make customers aware.

Surely Just Eat is just the conduit giving people 'an easier' & more varied choice of takeaway foods. I woud think it was individual businesses themselves who are responsible for own hygiene levels and if not good enough then should be closed down anyway from powers that be 🤔

I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT BURGER CHAINS ARE GUILTY TOO. THAT WHY I DRINK MORE COFFEE 'OUT' THAN TEA..AS THE FOLKS DON'T WEAR GLOVES WHEN THEY HANDLE THE TEA-BAGS AND ANYWAY 'HANDLE MONEY AT THE TILL.' SO..NO. DIRTY. NUL POINTS.

So, wait, it's a scandal on Just Eat's part when these takeout places are merely given 0 by authorities, and then simply allowed to continue by them? The buck should fall somewhere, and it's certainly not at Just Eat's door

well technically a zero still means they have been allow to stay open by food standard agency. it means they passed just about , so it should be taken up with the FSA is a zero should be allowed to stay open. the pass is a spectrum they are just at the bottom of it

Down to customers to check the environmental health rating for thier favourite restaurant. Usually pretty simple to find . Won’t be long before humans are incapable of doing anything for ourselves, need to have someone else do everything for us.

Deleted the app. Will revisit when @JustEatUK display actual food standard ratings on their site. It's surely not difficult. #JustEat

The scandal here is that local environmental health teams are allowing sub-standard operators to continue trading. Nothing to do with the deliverer.

Come on @JustEatUK just imagine you could actually ENCOURAGE eateries to clean up their acts and get better ratings. Put the hygiene ratings next to the reviews, job done. You could be even more of a leader in the market with this option
