Could've done with that 3 years ago when Elaine's dog took a chunk out of my leg when I asked her if she wanted anything from ASDA.
-
Why would you ask a dog what it wanted from Asda?
-
Elaine was the owner. Her dog bit me.

Teach dog owners how to look after their dogs properly! Dog are great with kids but respect goes both ways
-
Absolutely, but on occasion kids have run up to pet my mum's dog, which the dog finds frightening. Even a well trained and cared for dog can bite if cornered and scared.
-
Well it’s your duty to teach your children to respect the dog
-
????? I haven't got any kids!
-
Well it’s down to the parents, kids get bitten at their own risk, not much you can do mate but advise not to touch your dog

How about the parents teach children stuff rather then palming just about everything off on teachers ?

Couldn't agree more!

It quotes ‘Never go near dogs they don't know and only pat or play with a dog if they have asked the owner’ How does this apply when owners let their dogs off the lead in public spaces and the dog runs up to them?
-
In principle dogs running off the lead are friendly dogs, dangerous dogs are kept on the lead by their owners.
-
Not true. Every dog is capable of biting, dangerous or not. And not all dog owners are responsible
-
My dog is a protection dog, trained to attack if needed. Do i let him roam free, hell no. Before you start, i live in an area where armed robberies happen frequently so he's useful to have. Still my pet though. The shitty dog owners make people like myself look bad to the public
-
I completely agree
-
That was precisely my point, you wouldn’t let your dog roam free.
-
But people do and that’s my point
-
People that let dangerous dogs free are very few I think and should be penalised. Yes I agree, of course you must teach children not to approach them like they should watch traffic lights and not consume sweets from strangers. I think it’s a very small risk though.
