"She will serve a minimum of eight years and four months after admitting attempted murder and having a blade." And we wonder why our justice system is a joke...

8 years and 4 months for attempted murder and with her track record (no pun intended). I’ll await the tragic headlines within the next 9 years when she’s knifed someone to death then...

Also, “staff locked themselves in the cabin for safety”. Good to know if you get attacked on a train absolutely nobody will try and help.....

“In 2000, she was handed a life sentence and jailed for a minimum of three years for slashing an ex-partner across his face and mouth.” ......but it’s ok as she’ll serve a min sentence of 8 yrs 4 months & is clearly the type of person to do it again
well done justice system

Yet again we see PATHETIC sentancing. Due process is seen to take place in the courts but when it comes to sentancing.... not that bothered? What exactly is stopping MP's from reviewing Sentancing Law in this country? Justice for victims

Can never understand why they use the term “life sentence” when it is followed by ridiculous sentences such as 3 years. Life should mean life, particularly for self-confessed psycho killers like this cretin.

Perhaps it's time we adopted the American "three strikes" rule, with life meaning life. I can't forsee any cicumstances under which this woman, freed to walk our streets, won't pose a danger.
