3 women are murdered in the states every single day by males that are involved with them. All systems are male, including media. Murderous males are always framed as just really upset in some way. We are supposed to pity murderous males for choosing to murder. Males are stupid.

You're implying that somehow he was pushed to be a murderer. This is misogyny in action. Get all of your editorial staff on some anti-sexist training and stop minimising femicide. Police fail to stop murders would be more appropriate.

No need to take it out on the poor dog.

Or any of them! Women don’t deserve to be shot either, I should say murdered

This man was a repeated abuser of his female partner. He was violent and unstable. She was terrified. He murdered her. Your headline calling him ‘desperate’ undermines the reality of his crime. It evokes sympathy and casts him as a victim. He wasn’t desperate. She WAS.

Murdered - he murdered them! Language such as in this headline, just minimises his horrific actions.
