My experience is that Brits are pretty relaxed about Scotland when it comes to football. In the main they are indifferent. They do find it funny when they lose. On the other hand Scots almost to a man / woman want England to lose.

There are a few like that. Most like to laugh when they lose as your media puts England on a pedestal to be world beaters when the quality of football on offer is average at best in most cases

I’ve never met a Scot who was neutral about England at sport. They all want England to lose.

I couldn’t care less about them tbh. It’s the shite that surrounds them with the media. I assume the team hate it when the media say they’re supposed to be the worlds best

That is just mince dude there would be 1 Welsh mibbe one Scot (Robertson) and the rest would be English. That is a silly idea.

Obviously it would not happen as all home nations invented the game, how they are so protective of "country" status. Totally agree mate would be an English team with the odd token Scot or Welshman, just a we noise up #banter

I can't understand why any nation would want their national sports teams to do badly. Being Welsh, certainly you get used to our teams playing badly, but no one should want them to.

Well, I have no love for my national team anymore. This is not down to the team, it's down to the SFA and some of the supporters who have taken to booing players on to field because they play for Rangers. They deserve the team they have at present.
