You reported earlier this week re the Spanish guy that attacked the London Bridge terrorists with his skate board? He didn’t hide away because it was the right thing to do! Stop covering up for him!! He’s a bottle job and should be ashamed of himself!!!

Why didn’t he drive the car at speed towards the knife man. He should have done something. I can’t believe anyone could just sit in his car and watch the tragedy unfold. Shameful!!

It doesn't matter who defends him. He drove away from a brother officer who would no doubt have run to help him if the tables were reversed. He's a coward. I worked 10 years on the south side of Glasgow before body armour before anyone says I don't know what I'm talking about.

And on his rise to the top how many cops has he criticized, judged or got rid of? Most of the senior officers have never spent more than a couple of years on the street...cowardly act.

Don't suppose it's ever been tried, or even thought of,but they could have weaponised the car and driven it straight at the savage in an attempt to kill him

It's been done many times before by braver officers. I saw a male with a sword disarmed by a cop in Glasgow with a Ford Escort, and I've done the same myself with an LDV van. Ultimately potential lethal force but I'd rather justify in court than go to a colleagues funeral.

What utter crap....he could have used his vehicle as a weapon to defend. What’s more disgusting is the fact that every police officer around this location should always be armed, and this is a sad indictment and weakness of some executive management within the Metroplitan Police.

he was The Met's #1 officer on duty at the time, & he fucked off sharpish. he could have stayed & actually dealt with the aftermath, & been the leader he's paid to be.
