        I hope they offer this to cancer patients aswel. My mum at the age of 24 got breast cancer and beat it. Then it come back at the age of 40. Government took the treatment away she was on that was working because it was too expensive. Now its spreading like wildfire.

        She is so strong. I've always seen her in pain and suffering. She still wanted to work and still did even with no hair on chemo. The doctor had. To make her leave. Paid taxes all her life and now entitled to Treatment that works it furiates me x

        This is a bit misleading. Specialists, not GP's, can prescribe cannabis based products if there's "an exceptional clinical need". The vast majority of people who might benefit from this probably aren't going to be able to get it.

        It might not be that complicated, but it's designed to only be prescribed in extreme circumstances. Basically there were bad headlines about epileptic children having medicine taken away, they want those to go away and that's it.
