A liberal smothering of vicks vaporub (or generic equiv.) over the soles of the feet covered with a pair of socks works a treat at bedtime for my kids. (That and the fact that we’re terrible cleaners & have cats, has given my kids great immune systems so they rarely get ill 😁)

A healthy diet with little sugar and reduced processed food goes a long way in reducing frequency but treatment is general bed rest and in secondary symptoms, possible Anti biotics.

A common cold is a virus and is not stopped by being healthy, you may recover quicker but you will still get sick. Processed foot and sugar have nothing to do with how ill you get 🤷‍♂️.

So far a brand name cold cure, with as much sleep and rest as we can persuade him into having. (Usually buy reading all his books to him over and over again - he’s 2 @ Christmas)

Good food, fluids, rest and time. You can’t treat a cold, only the symptoms...

Just letting it run it course with the normal meds an adult would use, but in lower doses.

That was a news story? They didn't talk about treating symptoms at all, which is all you can do for viral infections. Of course menthol inhalants help, pain killers (age appropriate) help, fresh jammies & bedding every day help. (Invasive lighting too maybe like in a hostipal!😂)
