Watched a documentary on this jet and and yes it had a lot of problems and in a dog fight with a Russian MIG one pilot laughs and says "the MIG would probably win"!
Yep, think I saw the same doc It’s been a balls-up for years but it doesn’t stop Lockheed Martin making a nice fat profit
Is that because of Brexit as well?
Meanwhile the rancid leftist BBC reports on 1st F35 landings aboard HMS Queen Elizabeth. But in the most negative way it can. We need to equip these ships properly and rebuild our other denuded forces too. Time to cut £5bn pa from the overbloated, mis-spent overseas aid budget!
@blair_gervus
As a former RAF pilot, it's a situation always encountered, with new generation aircraft, also as it was with the MRCA,( Panavia Tornado) programme in the 1970's. As the F35 programme progresses, i'm confident that initial problems will solved
There have been problems with the f-35 for years. So much so, that the gov had to make ALL of the issues top secret. It should be scrapped. The f-35 is trash.
Trying to let it all out but failed miserably
Here the RAF do not! Fail!
It's predecessor the Harrier was always falling out of the sky.
I don't think this replaces the barrier, does it?
Surely that’s due to Brexit in @BBCNews world ?
It will make a good airfix model
Absolutely rubbish junk . Don't even need to shoot it comes down crashing itself . Would they reimburse ?
News: It can be seen quite clearly by low-frequency radars.....
How many have the government ordered
The UK has ordered 48 in the first batch and will procure over 140 aircraft by 2030
