The word "truth" does not belong in any sentence containing reference to the BBC. You can't even get the football results right.

The truth?! Really? If I ever want the truth about anything, the last place I'd look is the BBC.

"To explain Brexit in literary terms: 48% of Britons voted for Sense and Sensibility while 52% voted for Pride and Prejudice".
-
Did the 48% realise just one of the things they voted for was for MEP's expenses to be kept under wraps by the ECJ just this week. It appears the last time our "unbiased" national broadcaster mentioned this scandal was Nov 2015.

Sense and Sensibility, about a widow and her three unmarried daughters who inherit only a tiny allowance. Pride and Prejudice, charts the development of Elizabeth, who learns the error of making hasty judgments, appreciating the difference between superficial and the essential.

Looked up something similar to this, the day before the referendum, and it’s just as vague now as it was back then. A lot more questions should have been asked.

I take issue with your cheap flights bit. a flight from turkey (not a member) to the UK is cheaper than the flight back to turkey. That is entirely because of taxes imposed for the benefit of the EU

Over 60% of 18-29 year olds voted to stay in the EEC in the 1975 referendum. Forty one years later, of this same group now 59 to 70, over 60% voted Leave. Perhaps experience changed their minds and not, as some would try to say, a propensity to dream of former times.

In a rather patronising tone I must say... ‘we are currently in something called the European Union’ - gosh, aren’t old people clever....

I won't even waste my time reading it. It will be the usual Remain biased, scaremongering bullshit we have come to expect from the BBC.
