plenty of people saying this is wrong, health eating and exercise is the answer, what if you cant exercise? just sit back think for a second with answers and instead of having a little moan

You don't need to exercise to loose weight i was wheelchair bound for 10 months and managed to loose 50lb in a 20% deficit of my BMR it took nearly a year but i have now developed a great diet that i can sustain forever. I am now able to walk and exercise partly due to the loss
-
why was you in a wheel chair? was you moving yourself? did you decrease the amount of food you was eating while in the wheelchair? before the wheelchair you must of maintained that 20% and changed your eating habits. just sitting down doesnt lose weight
#Science -
I had a brain haemorrhage that caused a massive stroke that left me paralysed on the left side of my body,i was unable to push myself in the wheelchair as i have no use of my left arm,i was eating the wrong foods and not managing my calories before and after the stroke.
-
My sedentary BMR was approx 2500 kcals a day i reduced my kcals to 2000 a day resulting in 1lb fat loss a week it a year to loose the weight but its gone now and i have a good relationship with food.

@NHSuk should encourage a balanced diet with a large portion of exercise If they encouraged more people to cycle it would have dramatic resultsThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Why not offer rehabilitation instead with proper eating and exercise they can achieve much more consistent results.

-
Well that would be too sensible.maybe councillors available at every health clinic would work but could be too expensive.
-
It's a complex issue and the person it harms most is the individual going through it for whatever reason they become addicted to additives I won't point fingers but the proliferation of sugar in modern foods could be leading to the diabetes pandemic.

Incorrect: Less food intake and more exercise is what's needed.
-
*better more healthy food.
-
But less.... Calories in vs Calories out.
#NotRocketScience -
*fewer...
Weight loss is 80% diet. Eat the right things and you can still stuff yourself -
I would have to disagree.... Unless your talking about lettuce.

This is so wrong
. Eating in a calorie deficit and moving more is the only way to sustainably lose weight. Check out Team RH fitness, they'll. Show you how to do it properly.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

That does not teach you how to sustain weight loss by healthy eating and exercise
-
what if u cant exercise my friend?
-
Very very small minority can't, laziness for the rest
-
maybe this advice is for the minority or people who may become the minority you never know what can happen tomorrow
-
Personally think shakes are not the answer regardless of situation
-
why? done any research? skipping a harder to digest lunch for example with a simple easy to digest shake that can give you an afternoon boost the same as a sandwich or a small pasta etc its not a skip 3 meals a day replace with shakes diet.
-
No not research apart from trying I and knowing others who have tried it. It helps short term but not long term for me and other people I have known try it.
