No they are there to assist poorly or injured people in their hour of need. They only take those in need to A&E. Stop Messing with the NHS

They don't exactly help themselves, I was once transferred from one hospital to another by ambulance when I had surgery on my hand just so they could send my medical notes with me! I wasn't exactly at deaths door, yet they told me I had to even though I offered to go myself!

If you are unwell and unable to see your gp cos you cannot get an appointment you have no choice but to get to A&E. Ambulance service suffering because of the failure of gp services and lack of accountability of providers
