I think it is horrendous you are referring to her as “Pret girl” - incredibly insensitive and dehumanising.

If you're that allergic to food products, why take the chance of purchasing a product that may harm you? The sesame seed was hidden??? All the more reason to not buy from over the counter!

Cabin crews excuses are disgusting. So much better to follow protocol than to try and save Natasha's life. Welp sorry we're landing, can't get the defibrillator at the mo..🙄 Really cold and callous

Defibrillator is not actually the "cure" for anaphylaxis

It wasn't for the anaphylaxis, it was for the arrested heart!

Well, if it the passenger went into asphyxia due to anaphylaxis, asystole follows then defibrillator would be of no use. Helping the physician to pump the chest would be a better option.

You obviously know absolutely nothing about flight safety/regulations then. Take off and landing the aircraft is at it's most vulnerable.

Versus someone.. anyone... going into cardiac arrest!!! Are you saying that one member of the crew fetching the defibrillator would endanger the landing? So on that premise if a crew member becomes ill what’s the protocol?

Astonishing that @BBC reporters spend so much time travelling by air but have no idea of the way the aircraft they travel in are required by law to be operated. Too much to ask the BBC employs an Air Correspondent with some aviation background?

Disgraceful. While I get the need to secure the cabin, priority should be the situation. You can be sure if it was one of the crew they would've responded. And what's with "one cabin crew member was out of action"? That code for holed up in the crew rest on a 2-hour flight?

If anything we learn that if someone is dying on a #britishairways' plane, doors take priority, so they don't care if you die. Shame on you @British_Airways.
