Government and Department of Health that includes @MHRAgovuk and @PHE_uk apologise for not releasing FOIA information on information they hold ... sounds familiar ... http://movingtimes.org  The families impacted deserve truth, justice, transparency and accountability.

It was reported many years ago that Thatcher realised privatizing the transfusion service was a no no. But selling the blood products service to the US, against civil service advice, would go un-noticed. Be interesting if this is conformed now she's been dead long enough

Horrific, and deeply worrying. We trusted the NHS to do their jobs, and be the best in the world, and they have failed in the worst way.

I heard about this contamination back in the early '80's as the AIDS panics took hold. It was reported and suddenly vanished as it became deeply not done to talk or write about AIDS in any way that reflected badly on the Gay Community. Lots of things were brushed under the carpet

Sorry? Well, that's a big help to the 3000 people who've died and their poor families. It's been a massive cover-up and it's still not over. They'll carry on lying to cover their own arses.
