Unfortunately this combined with the latest news that the life expectancy in the U.K. hasn't grown for the first time in decades shows we are doing something wrong. As inequality continues to rise so will these problems.

Or lack of physical exercise maybe
-
Your right but that's not the ultimate reason. The problem unfortunately stems from poverty. There's a reason why the poorer you are the more likely you are to be obese. You have to consider why is exercising decreasing? Poverty and healthiness have a strong correlation.
-
Exercise is decreasing due to current lifestyle of families.
-
Yes but why have current lifestyles changed? What's occurred that could lead to these changes. People don't think "I'm poor so I can't exercise" it stems from numerous societal problems that sorround them. It's wealth that becomes a underlying factor:http://www.economist.com/finance-and-economics/2008/11/20/health-and-wealth …

Parents and teachers would need to put their mobile phones down to acknowledge the presence of kids. Humans are more obese because they're lazier and incapable of cooking. Takeaway food portions too big.Takeaway should be a weekly treat not a daily occurrence. Go for family walks

Weaker and less resilient. What liberal-lefty nonsense is doing to your children...
-
Those children were only 2 the last time there was a liberal-lefty government. And it wasn't all that liberal-lefty. Conservatives have been in power for something like 67% of the time since the war, but everything is somebody else's fault.
-
What has really happened of course is that we've had the Blairite common purpose agenda since 1997...
