Apparently the #BelugaWhale in the Thames is usually found thousands of miles away in the arctic near Russia... maybe it was on the way to see a #spire ....???
#borishovthebeluga
Stupid fish.
*sigh*
Excuse me?
Whales aren't fish, they can't breath underwater
Unlike octopuses
We need the Octonauts. @CBeebiesHQ
Lost? Lost from where? If you dont know where it is going or where it has been how can it be Lost?
Patterns of Beluga whale feeding, breeding and travel are well mapped and understood. Especially with regards to salt water and fresh water. Therefore, experts can have good idea if one is lost...
I'm sure it is lost and floundering. It was looking for the Mersey on its way to a conference.
Well, No great number of Predators circling. So it’s definitely not a Beluga Prime Minister...
It's a whale. It lives in water. It can go anywhere it wants.
They don't do well in the very busy / heavily polluted Thames though
....but the headline is misleading. It says 'very lost'. How do they know? If animals saw a human up Everest or in Antarctica would they think "Fuck me! He's obviously lost!" ?
It's very far from Belugas' usual feeding / breeding / socialising ground. They're rarely spotted North of Ireland and Scotland, never before this fat south It's more like an octopus seeing a fella in the Atlantic and thinking they're very lost
But..... the BBC is amusing it's 'very lost'
It might not be lost at all.
The BBC is spreading #fakenews
The human mind is a funny thing. We see a lost whale and our hearts go out, yet we see a lost ant or mouse in the garden and we think nothing of it, or many would even kill it.
