This has been Rees-Mogg et al’s plan from the beginning. Slash tax, slash regulation, turn a fast buck, f*ck the poor, feed the rich, we’re alright jack. Make Great Britains Poorer Again.

Those taxes are for 'ordinary people' I would think? Big business will be the ones who won't pay taxes, or even more than those that don't already.

Here's the truth about Brexit, the supposed "punishment" that many people claim the EU is trying to inflict on the UK, and the consequences of no deal. Buckle in, it's quite long. Better to be thorough than to leave stuff out! 1/12

'If it forces a no deal Brexit' FFS - who the f*ck put 'no deal' on the table? Who has kept repeating 'no deal better than a bad deal'? If they force or, if they call May's bluff & say 'so, no deal is better than a bad deal? OK, we're not going to bother with any bad deal'.

@DavidPBMaddox @CBItweets @CommonsEUexit After wasting endless amounts of taxpayers' £ on Brexit bureaucracy, plus the Tories empty-headed, clueless 27 month long "negotiation", no Govt, let alone this shambles, can afford to cut taxation. BTW where is the Brexit bus NHS cash?

For pitty’s sake @BBCPolitics #BBCBias Nothing about what that’d do to public spending at all? If you take less from a pot that has been decimated by Brexit you’ll have what exactly? A LOT LESS! Failing to point this out while slavishly pushing the party line is a disgrace!

Unless I’m going nuts, aren’t we already planning to go from 19 to 17% in 2020 and we have right to decide what level we want, now, i.e. still in the EU? Also, isn’t Ireland already lowest at 12.5% which is why they’ve had staggering inward investment (because they’re in EU)!?
