seems dangerous to mess with our ecosystem. Dragonflies, frogs, pond/water health, what eats frogs, etc up the food chain

There is hope, but too far to be true in our hand. Still the best way to prevent #Dengue is to get rid of #Mosquitoes breeding sites, and it will remain for some years. Even #Vaccination is still in question. TQ @Qhaany

And what about dragonflies who depend on mosquitoes to survive? Will they be wiped out too?

Should mosquitoes be annihilated? I'm sure they serve some beneficial purpose in the grand scheme of the environment.

Should polio be eliminated? I'm sure it serves some bene... why are you defending mosquitoes, malaria, dengue and zika?

Polio is a disease not an insect... however if you look at TB which we thought we had cured for it to come back more virulently The antibiotics which now do not work... The rabbits which cause chaos.. if one looks at history we can see the worst animal on this planet

Could they not have been genetically engineered to no longer be carriers of malaria? If they drop out of the food chain, it’s not going to end well.
