It’s interesting that if someone is found not guilty then it must be that the system failed or prejudice against woman etc.

Pointless quoting just conviction rates unless you have comparative data for: 1. Allegation rates 2. CPS refuse-charge rates 3. Historical trend in CPS charge-rates 4. Appeal courts A ‘Trial’ is just that - there is no fire-gone conclusion about the outcome.

I suppose it's this awful, politically incorrect "innocent-until-proven-guilty" malarkey still (in a few residual respects) cluttering up our outmoded Common Law system of justice that keeps throwing out so many of these "unacceptable" acquittals.

A challenge to society to stop excusing it.
-
No one is excusing anything. These people are being taken to court and found not guilty. Maybe we need to stop putting innocent people into the court system?
-
Isn't the role of the court to decide?
-
I was interviewed by the police about a family member who had been accused of abuse. I was viewed as a possible witness/victim. The police said they had no evidence, but they might just charge him anyway. Just to warn others about him. Who's the abuser there?
-
Court will never only have guilty verdicts. That's their role. I actually wish they had taken a case to court a few years ago, but it didn't. CPS don't like spending money. It's not a bottomless pit.

It's systemic, and the US has a similar disease. It seems that no-one wants to tell men that women are not their property. The UK has a queen & a female PM, for goodness' sake; punish these men & stop acting like their future is more important than the future of the victims!

Assuming you leave out the Muslim population.
-
Are you suggesting that Muslim predators are actually held accountable but that non-Muslim predators are not? The decent ppl of Rotherham might disagree with you.https://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerscruton/2014/08/30/why-did-british-police-ignore-pakistani-gangs-raping-rotherham-children-political-correctness/#4c0fd707754a …
-
Just the opposite. As far as Islam is concerned Muslim predators are not predators at all, they are just Muslim men being Muslim men and they are doing nothing wrong!

Possibly, just possibly, the reason these people are found not-guilty is because they are not guilty. Ever tried reporting a female for sexual assault or rape? The police officer doesn't even stand up to send you away.

But don't you dare hurt someone's feelings or you'll be arrested on the spot
