I don't think any bank boss is in a position to take the moral high ground on issues that may be fraudulent or dodgy. Where's my money Barclays?

The entire concept of PPI was a fraud perpetrated by greedy banks on their customers

Exactly. How can he claim people are robbing them by submitting fraudulent claims when the claims are there is the first place because of their fraudulent behaviour? Peak 2018

The banks fuelled said fraud culture in the first place, they've been ripping people off for decades now. John Varley & Libor scandal are just two examples of Barclays engaging in illegal activities. Then the HBOS bankers in Reading defrauding businesses to the tune of a billion.

Why on earth didn’t the banks just pay back the PPI themselves then the vultures would not be circling and making money in the process! The banks must have all the data!

The banks would have been better repaying everyone that hadn’t claimed on their PPI and stopped the PPI Claims companies holding on to £Bn’s of peoples money. They are the real winners in this
