Dear BBC, could you take care how to educate young people that this situation is not normal and that these children and families get help. How can society do its share? How can we all help those suffering families?
-
Start with yourself..
-
Exactly. I am building http://inspireants.com to collect ideas, concepts and best practices from all over the world. So that we all can learn, improve ideas and implement them locally in order to solve different problems. Everyone can join. Do you?
-
What I meant is start with our own pockets.. I do.. The needy are everywhere: We identify our own causes and contribute towards them, build our own ideas of who needs our help - the examples are clear..
-
I contribute time and money to 2 different projects tohelp directly the needy. One is a repair cafe and the other one is the imperathomas initiative. In the repair cafe, people can have their stuff repaired without payment. And the other one collects money for fight vs cancer
-
I don't need to know your details. As I first commented: Start with yourself.. It suffices that you did.. Good night from KL

How on earth in our civilisation does a child of 7 become responsible for her mother and a younger sibling. This is shameful this young lady had no childhoo. I hope she goes on to have everything she deserves. Bless her.

My old form teacher reminded me of my words when returning to school after Christmas break in 1969 " I'll be at school more now miss. My mum died boxing day". I was 11. I did my job too well my dad never knew my mum was ill until she was rushed into hospital that Christmas day.

Our Govt should be deeply ashamed that we even have 'young carers'. They're children fgs - this is a job for social services. What the hell are they doing with all the tax we hand over to them?
-
Parents look after their kids, kids look after their parents. It's the way it's always been, stop putting your responsibilities on to someone else.
