Send them back to Walkers at Freepost LE491B, LEICESTER, LE4 5ZY. Let's inundate them, they'll reduce the plastic then.

Why is the UK always different? Crisp packages goes in with the plastic and has for decades in Scandinavia. Is it your recycling system that can't handle the metal? The packets look and feel same as ours

Does she not realise whether they were recyclable or not, they'd still end up in the ocean? Protest litterers, not Walkers.

Well until 2025 then maybe Walkers should set up packet recycling banks so that the more responsible amongst society could use them and Walkers could develop ideas for their re-use

Non recyclable plastics, such as metallicised crisp packets etc, can be recycled via pyrolysis which converts the polymers into biofuel similar, and more efficient than, diesel fuels

Retrospective recycling can be carried out by digging up landfill sites from when they started, in the late 1800's. As this was when the age of disposable consumables came into being. Dig them up and recycle the same way we recycle now
