I have to tell you now that no such undertaking has been received, and that
consequently this country is at war with ourselves and reality. #Brexit

She misinterpreted German Chancellor Angela Merkel and European Council President Donald Tusk's good intentions as support for her plan, rather than a demonstration of diplomatic courtesy."

"Mrs May wanted to flex her foreign muscle to the ultras of the Conservative Party before their annual conference. Big mistake.

A 'stirring riposte' to a position the EU had spelt out 2 years ago?

To even hint at Thatcherisms during
#Brexit is criminal.@theresa_may run 2nd referendum for the more informed LEAVE voters like my family. Last vote was based on smoke & mirrors. Give us non politically minded a chance. Not before time . Finally Madam May wakes up to the 17.4 million voters .
-
Who are a minority of the electorate. The majority didn't support Brexit.
-
Using that logic, the majority didn't support remain either. Perhaps if they did they might have bothered to vote. Seeing as they didn't, we will never know their opinion.
-
Good point, that’s why should be another one properly conducted.

"Defiant"? She was embarrassing. Her dancing was better than her attempt to persuade anyone she has a grip on Brexit. The EU are being fair, she's being a child. Most embarrassing moment yet.
-
What's going on with the papers Harry? Why do they all seem to be backing her for once?
-
Are they, I don't read them, just see what ppl post on here. I can't believe they are. I watched her speech at work, everyone around me thought it pathetic (& there were Tory idiot supporters there).
-
It's only cos I followed the link above and saw the headlines of all those brexit papers who seemed happy up to now to say she was not doing enough, suddenly defending her. I guess their hatred of the EU is greater...?
-
Ha I didn't even scroll down, just saw the Daily Fail one. I guess they feel some need to be nationalistic & support the PM. Dunno why when she's being traitorous still not admitting the Ref was sabotaged & against the desire & best interests of the UK. It's unreal.
