Many jobs don't get anymore than this an hour so why should only some get a pay rise and not all underpaid stressful jobs?
-
They should, these guys are being proactive and shouldn't be knocked for that
-
They should but it shouldn't just be these jobs that get a pay rise there are plenty of jobs with more responsibilities that get paid less
-
Then they should do something about it
-
It goes unnoticed, plenty have tried and failed! Go ask the sectors who deal with keeping people safe, alive, cared for there outcomes
-
That's not these guys fault though. You can both think that these guys should earn more and so should others and hope they're successful
-
It's not you're right but it's can't be justified for certain jobs to be higher paid than others
that's my opinion - 1 more reply

Solidarity to them. They are brilliant brave clever people who deserve a proper living wage just like all in hospitality and retail sectors. A Labour govt will enshrine that proper living wage in law once workers now have fought and won it.

Get better jobs. Working in McDonald's is what teenagers are supposed to do for experience.

The minimum wage was always a free pass for employers to under pay everyone
-
Really ? Without minimum wage they could pay you less than minimum wage. Flipping burgers is a minimum wage job, No skills needed.
-
You've clearly never flipped a Burger
-
What an ignorant comment to make.
