So how will the #BBC challenge the government on this? What questions will it ask? Let's see some good investigative journalism please!

Care and nursing homes will begin closing very shortly as the operators realise that running them isn't worthwhile. This will lead to a crisis in care for the elderly which the government isn't prepared to deal with.

This has been the same here in West Mids for years but no one outside cares and now the Shires hit, people care ?

Once care home operators realise that they will need additional evening staff to cover for evacuation of immobile residents in an emergency then they will be closing in large numbers. Fire brigade cuts mean less firefighters for rescue and only firefighting.

What gets me is that out here in the sticks of South Northants I pay more council tax £2,060 for a band E than is paid for a multi million £ mansion in central London. Who thinks that's fair or right?

If that's the case how come #Suffolk #ipswich just approved a 17% increase to the leaders pay? Hugely irresponsible clearly.
