Be of course we disabled couldn't possible the qualifications or experience for a (still relatively small) number of positions in a gigantic and disparate organisation.

If I'm understanding you correctly you're suggesting disabled people don't get to read media studies at college or Uni and don't get work experience opportunities to help increase their development in that field? If that's the case then something needs to be done about that.

Instead of singling out disabled, black, gay or any other “type” of person, why not just commit to an even playing field for all and the person most suited gets the job? We’re all the same. It’s sad in this day and age that we still have to categorise everyone

Yay... Here's a tip.. Employ the best person, regardless of race, colour, creed, gender or ablement.. Or is that too easy?

Jobs should be given to people based on merit and skill, not shunt them in because of their disability, race, sexuality, hair colour etc to make you look good under this new PC virtue signalling culture we now live in

Positive discrimination. Gotta fill those quotas? So they'll bypass a person who is, I presume will be better qualified for someone to fill a quota sheet

commitments like this confuse me. How can you commit to recruiting the best person for any given job whilst also committing to hire more individuals of a specific demographic. Surely this cant be done without resorting to discrimination.

So someone who isn't disabled could lose out to a less qualified person purely because they are disabled. That's discrimination? Surely?...

If 18%of they total UK population are disabled, please advise as to what proportion of this is of working age. Only then can we see if they are under represented in the broadcasting workforce .
