Sounds more like giving opportunity to those who are being constantly discriminated. Don't make this about white people.
Wow. How dare they try and save advertisement costs by targeting the group most likely to be interested
Stop calling everything sexist.
Looking forward to the push for getting more women into bin collecting and sewage clearance. Oh wait, it's only when it suits?
I'd say the vast majority of people who work cleaning are women. I can't see that argument holding up.
So 'the vast majority' of bin men, are actually women?
I'm talking about people who work cleaning houses or stores, which includes dealing with trash and bathrooms in less-than-optimal conditions.
But he was talking about bin collecting and sewage
It's all the same, the premise is wrong
I seriously wonder what goes through people’s minds when they feel the need to nitpick these things. Obviously if there is a skilled female roofer who’s better than others applying, she gets the job. THIS IS NOT NEWS!!!
Funny how you never report on positive discrimination against white people in government and and also BBC recruitment?
The more difined your add on Facebook is the more chance it has of reaching the right audience, I'm sure there are women roofers out there but it is so rare that it would be pointless including them in the targeted audience. This doesn't mean they won't see the add!
So the story says that the jobs 'seemed' to be for men, really where did it say that? Someone has a fucking huge chip on their shoulder.
The west dies a death by identity politics.
LOL not a single woman has ever applied for my position in construction. NOT ONCE in the entire history of my company. I confirmed this with the HR department....
