Because it was based on lies and undeliverable promises and reality is starting to bite. That's why we need a #PeoplesVote

If that’s the case there should be immediate votes after every election - not just one every 5 years

Why? We get a General Election every five years. Brexit is permanent. Once we’re out we can’t rejoin even if we discover that it was a mistake.

Brexit isn’t permanent, as entering the EU wasn’t. If you want a second referendum fine, you should follow precedent and have one however long it was between the entering vote and the exiting vote

That’s not really a precedent, it was someone desperate to stay in downing st. Considering the vote was near 50/50 and that there were no details of the deal or effects of no deal a second ref is a good compromise.

        Replying to @thepiratesteve @Jonatha90877420 and

It doesn’t matter the vote was near 50/50, the vote was a clear majority and the majority opinion should be respected. A second referendum is not a compromise option. A compromise is a referendum ten or twenty years after leaving to see if we want to go back in and stay in

Yeah I know but what I’m saying is the vote could’ve been 50.01/49.99 and it wouldn’t matter because there still would be a majority and the majority view needs to be enacted upon
